1. Privacy at a glance
Picsemble does not run a photo-upload server, require an account, show advertising, or use analytics or cross-app tracking tools.
- Photos, people cut-outs, and projects are processed locally on your iPhone.
- Picsemble does not recognize who a person is or create facial or biometric identity profiles.
- Purchases are processed by Apple. Picsemble never receives your payment-card details.
- This website does not use sign-up forms, advertising cookies, or analytics tools.
2. Information handled by the app
Photos and camera content
Picsemble accesses only photos you select or photos you choose to take inside the app. They are used to build your composition, extract a person from a photo, create previews, and export your finished image.
Projects and saved people
Project files, editing choices, thumbnails, and people you explicitly save to the people library are stored in the app's local storage on your device. Picsemble does not send them to a Picsemble-operated server.
On-device person extraction
Picsemble uses Apple's on-device image tools to separate a person from a background. This is image segmentation, not face recognition: the app does not determine identity, name people, or build biometric profiles.
3. Device permissions
- Photo library: used when you choose photos for a project.
- Camera: used only when you choose to take a photo.
- Add to photo library: used only when you ask Picsemble to save an export.
You can change these permissions in iPhone Settings. Refusing a permission only prevents the related action; it does not create an account or send other information to Picsemble.
4. Purchases
Picsemble Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles your Apple Account, billing information, taxes, refunds, and payment-card data under Apple's own privacy terms. Picsemble receives only the purchase status and transaction information needed to verify and restore your Pro unlock.
5. This website
This website does not offer accounts, contact forms, email sign-ups, advertising, or analytics. It does not intentionally set cookies for marketing or behavioral tracking.
Like most websites, the hosting provider may temporarily process technical request information—such as an internet address, browser type, requested page, time, and security signals—to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and keep it reliable. Picsemble does not use that technical information to build advertising profiles.
6. When you contact support
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include, such as a problem description, device details, or attachments. We use it only to respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and keep a necessary support record. Do not send original private photos unless they are needed and you choose to share them.
Support messages may be processed by the email provider used for the dedicated Picsemble support address. Provider details will be reflected here when that address is activated.
7. Sharing and sale of information
Picsemble does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information may be disclosed only to service providers described here, when you direct the app to share an export, or when required by applicable law.
When you use the iPhone share sheet, the destination app or service you select receives the exported image under its own privacy policy.
8. Storage, backup, and deletion
Local projects and saved people remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app. Removing Picsemble can permanently remove its local data. Depending on your Apple backup settings, Apple may include app data in an iCloud or device backup under Apple's policies.
Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain necessary records, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Hosting security logs are controlled by the hosting provider and kept according to its operational and security practices.
9. Your choices and privacy rights
You control local app data through Picsemble and iPhone settings. You can delete projects or saved people, change permissions, and remove the app. If we hold a support message associated with your email address, you may ask to access, correct, or delete it, subject to applicable law and records we must keep.
Privacy rights differ by location. People in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, California, and other regions may have additional rights, including the right to access, delete, correct, restrict, object, or complain to a local data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
10. Children’s privacy
Picsemble is a general-audience creative tool and is not directed to children under 13. The app does not create accounts or knowingly collect children's personal information through a Picsemble server. Photos that include children receive the same local, on-device handling described in this policy.
11. Security and international processing
Keeping creative content on the device reduces exposure, but no device, email system, or website is completely secure. Protect your iPhone with a passcode and keep iOS updated.
The publisher is based in China. Website hosting and support email providers may process limited website-request or support-message information in other countries. Where required, appropriate legal safeguards will be used for international processing.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when Picsemble's features, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top will be updated, and material changes will be communicated in a reasonable way.
